These workshops aim to address diversity and discrimination issues related to religion using highly interactive and participatory methods that have proven effective in dealing with general prejudice and discrimination.

The DerbyYouth Inter-faith Forum

 The Youth Forum celebrated its first year at the South Asian Arts Festival in the Market Place on Sun 25th July where they had a marquee to promote volunteering by showcasing their work in words pictures and witha DVD.

The next meeting of the forum is Tuesday 17th August at 6pm in MFC.

Come along and help plan the future of this group and the projects it undertakes.

Supporting a Faith Leaders Advisory Board

The MFC in conjunction with the the Forum of Faiths for Derby and the City Council are working towards the creation of a Faith Leaders Advisory Board for Derby. This work is ongoing until March 2011.
