The Launch of the Youth Interfaith Forum 9th December 2009

The first meeting of the Youth Interfaith Forum was a resounding success, with 21 potential participants turning up at the MFC, where the first evening saw a range of ice breaking activities designed to get those present better acquainted enjoyed by all.

There was some useful interaction and brain storming about direction by the participants and the project outlined was discussed, with a view to planning the next 12 months.

The forum meet again on Tuesday 26th January 2010, and are still looking for diverse participants from new communities in the City, and from the Hindu and Sikh communities.

Come along and help plan the future of this group and the projects it undertakes.

The Centre has received funding from Derbyshire Community Foudation through grass roots funding to produce a new newsletter.

The newsletter will be posted out, along with the new Spring 2010 Events Programme, to those on our mailing list towards the end of January.
