Acknowledgement of Sources

Estimates of numbers of local inter-faith groups by country are taken from P. Weller (ed.), Religions in the UK: A Directory, 2001-3 (Derby: Multi-Faith Centre at the University of Derby, 2001).

The section on a ‘A Short Introduction to Inter-Faith Activity’ summarises and abstracts from the same publication’s chapter on ‘Inter-Faith Activity in the UK’ (pp. 79-94) which was developed with input from a range of consultants (pp. 643-650).

Materials in the sections on ‘Inter-Faith Activity in the UK: Key Information’ and ‘Inter-Faith Origins and Key Developments in the UK’ were originally developed by the author for the British Council and used here by kind permission.
